The Trials of Apollo (Fanfic) *scratch*

I am apollo... Uhh ermm, not anymore i say, but i still have this mortal body of lester papadopoulos which casually become an immunity to me...
I've uncover such revelation about myself and i can't bring myself to hate my bestfriend for not asserting to what i wish for her to do from the past.. *sigh* maybe its fate that i've become like this , and it's all in the past now..
I'll introduce myself again, i'm a warrior from the past, a fellow comrade of the old artemis and zeus ... Been given a lot of blessings from greek gods but i didn't use it until the last of my breath...
I only depend on my strength alone and fight for the people and for whats right..
But until the end, zeus broke his oath to me..
After i died, he sealed my soul to a gods body and become a god myself...
On the other hand, artemis tried to convince zeus not turn me into a god but she couldn't defy zeus any further that's why she decided to become my twin for her to protect me and guide me...
She is a precious sister for me after all..

"Hey are you another form of blessing from that alp- or what?" Ask by piper as i arrived at the secret dimension that i have created with the use of zeus blessing...

I never took a glance at her instead i look at tet who governs my blessing from demeter and take a deep breath.
"Prepare all the preparations needed for the upcoming battle" i commanded on him

He head my command and flee without saying anything. I glance at jason and seriously check his body.

"Its great that youre alright, son of zeus" i said to him as i walk towards them

He look at me confused "do i know you?"

"WHERE IS APOLLO?!" shouted by a girl of twelve
The girl is hysterically going around searching something around them while there's a liquid coming out from her eyes. And theres a guy whos still kneeling at the side of the black hole as if waiting someone to emerge from there.

"calypso..." He muttered

"APOLLLOOOO!!!!" shouted by the girl

I just look at him
"I'm alphonse, nice to meet you" i took a glance at piper who is seemingly want to question me too. "You too, daughter of aphrodite"

I clasp my hand and summon another blessing of mine. Then not just five seconds, there is a boy appeared at my left side.

"What?" He suddenly ask me with a bored look

He had a black and gray shade colors of eyes. He also wore an all black outfit that represent night itself.. Actually, he is blessing from hades himself..

"Lead them to the long island" i command him

He just nodded then walk away not 1 feet away from us. He took a glance at the two then "follow me demigods"

The two were confused but they abide and followed nyx. Jason took a one last glance from me and went away. I'm gonna tell them later after i finish my talk to zeus.

There's a woman wearing a white dress sitting at one of the trees of the dodonas grove. She is staring at the pond infront of her as if there is a movie playing at that pond. She casually let one finger touch the water then an image emerge from there. An image flickered and a future has been told..

Lester hold meg shoulder and knee infront of her. He has a solemn look and kinda an emphaty look to meg. Meg stared at lester confused on what his doing but she didnt think any sarcastic remarks and she waited lester to say anything.

"Meg..." He cut then continued with a deep breath.
"I'll certainly never and ever let you die.." Lester said to meg not averting his eyes

"Wh--" meg was cut off by the words of lester

"--I'll never leave your side, i will be with you until the end" he released his grasp from meg and stand straight.

He turned his back from meg then just pause right there as if waiting for meg to respond to what he has said.

Meg is out for just a second, trying to comprehend all the words from lester .. Then she confusely look at the back of lester and take a deep breath..

"You're saying it like... Like you going to die?" Meg casually walk towards lester and grip unto his shirt.
"Are you reciting a lyricks again? Or just a haikus?" Meg ask

Lester walk towards and meg loosened the grip from lesters shirt .. Then at that time, lester glance at meg and his blue eyes reflected the color of the moon.. It as if like a glowing orb inside his eyes. He releases a calm demeanor aura and with a look in his eyes, it's kind of mesmerizing.

"The truth is, child of demeter... I came from the future and i'll never let anyone die again.."

From those last words he spouted , he turned his back again and left meg alone confused again..

Chiron looked at the gloomy half blood.. Or a mortal. The looks of the boy seems kinda remind him someone and when an idea pops up into his head. He did consider this though and think of a way to talk to this boy privately.

After the dinner at pavillion, he casually walks towards the group of ares with the newly recuit demigods talking to each other, well except for the boy. He approach them and they take notice of chiron and gradually greet him. He just smiled at them and approach the boy.

"Can i have a talk with you?" He ask the boy

The girl with look at the boy, giving him some hint that she want to go with him but, the boy just took a glance at me then to the girl.

"It'll just a minute, right?" He look at me as if hinting to agree with him

I nodded and smiled at her "yes, it'll not take longer, i'll bring him back as i finish with the talk"

She took a glance at both of us, not really satisfied with my answer or his. But then she heave a sigh. "Mm kay" she muttered and walk along with the ares kid..

I startled when the boy talk to me with his emotionless eyes.
"So, what is it mister?"

"Follow me" i said and walk casually towards the place that we can privately talk. He followed me along the way.

As we've arrived at our destination. He sat on one of the big rocks that place in the side of the cliff that nearly can be seen the ocean and moon relflected on it. I just stand apart from him, and before i question him, i took a deep breath and look intently at him.

"A-are you..are you apollo?"

He didnt even took a glance at me. Instead he just look at the scenery towards us.

"What do you think?"

"The quest?, the quest about you missing?--"

"--i dont know what zeus thinking about giving quest on finding me but *he glance at me* , to tell you the truth.. *he raised his right hand* this bracelet sealed my godly being and powers, which is the reason why zeus did such thing"

"...they've noticed that your presence suddenly just disappear.. And we kinda sense it too.. We .. Need you Apollo.. The first quest and prophecy about you--"

"--it's lester, chiron"

"Umm lester, about the prophecy--"

He stands and walks towards me.
"I know of the prophecy and i'll gonna do it"

"But, y-youre a mortal"

He intently look at me straight in the eyes.
"I am mortal chiron... I never once a god"

"Wh--"

"I never been a god and i'll responsibility of my mistakes.. I take the quest"

"So you two are still undetermined, lester and megan--"will solice

"Its MEG!"meg

"Oh sorry, i mean lester and meg right? Umm what can you do both?"will

"I can plant and eat vegetables"meg

"Okay" he glanced at lester "what about you?"

Lester took a glance around them then look at will "i can do meds"

Will clasped his hands. "For the mean time, while you two are still undetermined.. You help us with what you can do" will took a glance at meg

"You can go to demeters cabin and ask them on what you'll do and for you, you can come with me"

"'Kay"meg

Will walk first and i just followed him. We went to his cabin which is the apollo cabin and took a look inside.

"The twins are not inside, so i'll just introduce you later to them"

I just nodded and went after him

We went to the infirmary and treat wounds of the demigods who had been injured from the forest..

**** several hours later

I treated at least five or more patients today. When im about to finished gauzing the wound of the patient im tending to.. I got startled when will suddenly pops up beside me. Watching me intently while his hand behind his back.

"You sure know how to handle meds huh"

"Yeah"

After i finished mending the patient, i walk towards the sink and wash my hands.

"How did you learn--"

I cut him off "from med school, and from my parents i think" i lied

I went to the canteen ignoring will. I took a bottle of water and open it.

"Do you have an idea whose your parents was?"

After i drink, i close the lid and took a glance at will.

"No idea"

"Meg has been determined to be the child of demeter, how about you?" Nico ask me suspiciously

When im about to answer him, a sudden thunderbolt fell from the sky to the center of the cabins. And from there, a smoke surround the place and a crater was made. Seconds past, a figure of man appeared from the smoke. A figure of a 20+ man, with a golden hair and a crystal blue eyes..

He scanned his surroundings then his eyes stop at my place. The demigods were shock or stunned and somehow chiron take an initiative to approach the man.

He bowed then "lord zeus" chiron mused

Along with chiron, all the demigods bowed too.
Zeus take his glance away from me toward to chiron.

"I came here to talk with the new demigod--" then again glance at me.

"--lester papadoulous, may i have your time?" Zeus ask

All their eyes switch to me which somehow intimidating, along with the crowd who were staring at me, are nico and meg.. Leo and calypso.

I look directly into his eyes then look at chiron.

"Sure, can you arrange a room for us chiron?" I ask chiron

"O-okay, follow me lord zeus and lester"

As chiron redeid the room and left us alone. Zeus is sitting opposite from mine. I can tell that he's about to take his anger to me, but he notice the change from me.. I finally take a deep sigh then look at him intently.

"It's been awhile, my friend" i mused while smiling at him

I can already see the sweat popping out on his forehead.
"Y-you remembered. How?"

"It's not how, but why right?"

"...."

"You broke your oath, zeus" i prankly told him

I've been keeping this for the time i have regained my memories .. This feeling of anger and betrayal from a friend you have trusted from a long time.

He look down as if studying the floor.
"I-i can't lose you al--"

I cut him, i raised from my sit then glared at him.
"Don't call me in that name anymore zeus,  it's all in the past... I meant that i feel a grudge for you but, all in all... It's all in the past" i tried not to shout at him and restrained myself

"I-i don't how to---"

I cut him again..
"You don't have to do anything.. I'm not planning to forget my responsibility as a god and all.. But you can't control me anymore zeus.."

Zeus bolted upward then as if trying to hug me , i raised my hand to stop him.

"J-just let me apologize for what i did to you , my friend"

"As i said earlier, it's all in the past... Our friendship too.. For the mean time, i don't think i can forgive you but for now.. The blessings that you have given me , i'll use it for this cause"

Zeus stayed silent and sat again. I did what he did. He's just looking down, not taking a glance at me. I know that he's feeling guilty.

"And, for this quest.. Im gonna take it along with the child of demeter and haphaestus.."

He then look at me.

"And i have a favor for you.. Not your son, not your friend .. But as lester.."

"Sure, what favor it is?"

"Don't let anyone know that i'm apollo.. Any god and any creatures.. Can i trust you with that?"

"I swear at the river styx"

Jason look a bit confuse as he examine the person infront of him. Hes planning to get up from the bed when the a child came to him and tries to stop him.

"Don't get up , you have not healed yet" said the child

But jason reluctantly refuse the child offers and trying to get up. He look a bit rush.

"I-I need to go to piper... I need to go at my friends--"

"You don't have to"
"W-what..? What do you mean? And who are you?"
"Youre in my realm, you should rest and heal first child of zeus"
"I-I need to go at my friends!! Theyre in danger, they need me"
"You can't--"
"--you don't understand me!! P-piper w-will die --"

I approach him and my figure that was hidden from the shadow revealed from the light. Jason pause for a bit then a suprise look surface at his face ..  As if not believing all of the answer laid before him..

"A-apollo?.. Why? *looks around* w-what happened? ...d-did we win?"

The figure of apollo shakes his head and look intently at jason..

"You died in a honorable way, jason grace"
"W-wait, what are you talking about?"
"From that battle, you have save your friends lives by sacrificing yours.. You are truly a great hero"
"W-what.."

"gods never really helpful when we need them most huh"
 Look at the sky
"Yeah..." Mumbled by the man in shadows..
